Mt. Fuji Yamanashi Guide-Interpreters Association（FYGIA）

Founded for the purpose of “promoting international tourism and enhancing positive international relations”, in addition to “contributing the social and cultural development of Yamanashi prefecture”, the Mt. Fuji Yamanashi Guide-Interpreter Association (FYGIA) is an expert group of multilingual interpreter-guide professionals.

We offer guiding services and hands-on tours related to Mt. Fuji, the World Heritage site and provide interpretation, translation, and training for guide-interpreters. In particular, a variety of tours offered by our local guides who have unparalleled and extensive knowledge unique to the local area are extremely popular both in and outside of Japan.

Multilingual support, information dissemination for overseas visitors using various tools, and familiarization trips are offered through the Minobu Farm Stay Regional Association.
