Umeya Zuikodo is a long-established Japanese retail store with a history of almost 100 years. Located near the main gate of Mt. Minobu, we offer a wide range of accessories and novelty goods as well as Buddhist ritual objects such as Buddhist prayer beads and incense sticks.

In addition to authentic products used in Buddhist services, fashionable products and accessories for daily use are also available, making them perfect as souvenirs of Mt. Minobu.

In addition to selling a variety of Japanese crafts and goods, we offer activities such as “bracelet making,” which is very popular among visitors as the bracelets can be a keepsake of the visit to Mt. Minobu. Bracelet making takes about one hour, and the friendly staff will teach you how to make the bracelets as well as the meaning of each stone. Pick your favorite stones and colorful threads for your own unique combination.
